Mindfulness & Movement Group - *New, NO REFERRAL NEEDED
Weekly, drop in sessions with meditation and gentle movement such as yoga and Tai Chi - to improve stress resilience and reduce pain. Improves flexibility, balance, strength, body-awareness and overall health. Great for chronic stress, chronic pain, mild to moderate anxiety and depression.

Criteria for Aspirin Prophylaxis in Pregnancy
by 20%. Only low dose aspirin 81 mg (or 75mg) onceWe recommend using 81mg daily is appropriate. At this timealthough one study suggests the best dose might be 150mg daily. Some experts recommend 162mg (two tabs) daily. The risk of congenital anomalies.

Criteria is one of the following major risk factors for preeclampsia.
History of preeclampsia, especially when accompanied by and adverse outcome
Multifetal gestation
Renal Disease
Autoimmune disease (SLE, antiphospholipid syndrome)
or several of these moderate risk factors:
Nulliparity or
> 10 years since last birth
Age > 35
H/o preeclampsia in mother or sister
Age ≥35 yearsAfrican
American race
Low socioeconomic level
Previous small for gestational age infant *
Previous stillbirth *
At CCRMC/UBCP Maternal-Fetal Medicine also recommend ASA prophylaxis for:
Prior documented or convincing history of SGA baby
Benefit shown if started between 12-16 weeks gestation. Unclear benefit if started later than 16 weeks EGA. ACOG suggests starting up to 28 weeks gestation if not started earlier as recommended.
OK to start earlier in first trimester no concern for ectopic
Normally continue until delivery. ConsiderWe suggest stopping nearASA at 37 weeks, or one week before delivery if at otherwise high risk for blood loss, e.g. placenta previa.planned prior to 37 weeks EGA. It is considered safe to continue until delivery.
